They're apparently not adding new frames, it's basically just updated artwork which intends to keep the style intact. If they start adding new frames and shit, that can have a significant impact (possibly for the worse) on the gameplay. I am all for new shit, making it even easier for skeptics to justify purchasing it -- but I'd prefer they keep the original gameplay intact. As it was said before, this is probably a testing ground for something else they have in the works.
