Good. Visual style and odd choice of music aside, Sonic Rush was a really well-made, refined, and balanced Sonic game. The fact that it was fun to Time Attack shows Dimps finally got it.

Those dismayed with the recent next-gen Sonic game will find solace that a sequel to Sonic Rush is being made. More 2-D gameplay goodness across two screens (not to mention a good soundtrack) is alright with me.

I loved the first one so I'll be picking this one up.
<3 Sonic Rush
I just hope it's more of...
and less of...shooting the blue hedgehog through 2D landscapes that span across both of the DS' screens.
I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but Rush was fantastic, and adding "Adventure" to a new Sonic game does little to boost my enthusiasm. Nor does the thought of Sonic hunting down pirates. There will be 3D segments where Sonic pilots submarines, hovercrafts, and other ships while in pursuit of the game's pirate villains
A is for action
It's about time! I was beginning to think they'd never get around to it.
I can't say I'm excited about this game. I was hoping the first Sonic Rush would kick ass but to me it was just a decent game that lacked the charm of the old Sonics. The only Dimps Sonic game I loved was Pocket Adventure, probably because it felt like the Genesis games and didn't have ugly artwork.
Is it even really possible for these games to reclaim the old charm they once held? For both Sonic and Mario I just don't know if they'll ever be so great again or capture the old charm I use to love.
Maybe not but I think New SMB captured a lot of what's great about classic Mario, moreso than Sonic Rush did for its series.
