    Problems with VLC Media Player

    Yeah so i'm using this very very very shitty PC for the time being at the house and I use VLC to get my kicks on the Internet. I recently upgraded the damn puter to Win 2000 Prof. NT and downloaded some updates from M$. Well after a recent update VLC started playing all my videos with the colors inverted. Any help would be appreciated.

    BTW incase anyones wondering VLC is excellent if you have a very very very shitty pc.

    It's awesome even on non-shitty PCs.

    Let's get the obvious out of the way. Did you upgrade VLC after you upgraded your PC?

    It's probably a display driver issue caused by an update to one of MS generic video drivers.. Track down the actual driver for your video card or chipset and see if that helps. That's my only guess.

    Well I had the latest drivers before windows did the auto update...

    Not drivers... the VLC program itself. Did you download a new version?

    Yeah i had the latest version did a new one come out recently? This happened to me of weeks ago...

    Uninstall VLC player and then download and reinstall it. See if that fixes the problem.

    If all else fails, in VLC go to window -> advanced view or something and a pane will come up where you can adjust contrast and colors and stuff. There should be an invert option there you can play with.
