GameTap Expands Business Model, Goes Free
GameTap is preparing to make major changes to its business model. On May 31, the tap will open wide and gamers will get free access to 30+ ad-supported games. In addition, the company is opening a digital distribution store and will actually sell certain titles day and date with their retail release. GameTap's Stu Snyder fills us in on the changes and tells us that GameTap may even extend to other platforms in the future.
