    Exactly what I was thinking. They use kryptonite in lightbulbs, it's not a new discovery at all.

    The fortress of solitude, on the other hand, is pretty cool.

    Ummm, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the element is "Kryptonite", I think it's Krypton.

    Edit: Yeah, I'm right. Just Wikipedia Krypton.

  8. lol yeah, Krypton is an element. Kryptonite I would assume is a crystalized form of the gas (but I don't know I never read the comics)
