Why was the Dad not with him? The kid was just wandering around and only after seeing his son get tackled (good tackle and save). Did he run over. The dad was irresponsible; serious.

That kid had no business being on the field period. Maybe running around the edge of a basketball court like an aimless dumbass, but football is a high-impact game and people do get hurt on occasion.

When I was younger (not that young though, maybe 12 or 13) I was walking past some people playing baseball and the guy throwing decided to pitch to the batter and he blasted one at me from maybe 20 or 30 feet away and hit me in the face. I didn't get hurt in the least, I was pretty suprised.
These days, playing with the people I play with, I get scared when throwing BP without a screen, I probably would've died

I catch my 85-88MPH throwing friend with my infielders glove and no equipment. I also throw batting practice without a screen but that's all mostly because I'm a man :P

Ugh I hate it when parents have their kids in places they shouldn't be, especially unsupervised. Those guys should be able to play football without worrying about plowing into 4 year olds on the sidelines.
At any rate, this would be an awesome video to show the kid when he got older.
