Thread: Rockstar: GTA IV Development Limited by Xbox 360

  1. MS should just step in and offer a dirt cheap 20 giger that can be packed in with the game.

    Problem solved.

Of course, offer a game only version for those of us who arent retarded as well.

They should make GTAIV for the hard drive and just label the box that it requires such
I had heard a rumor a little ways back that they were maybe going to do this. I believe the rumor was that games that required the HDD would say such so people would know if they could play it or not. Of course, this shouldn't be the case at all, as everyone should have the HDD and their should be no core system. I think this is going to be a small kick in the nuts that might get MS to start coming up with a solution. They listened when people bitched about a lack of HDMI, and hopefully they will listen when not only their customers, but the developers as well complain about this issue more and more.

I didn't play VC very long. Tried it out for a couple hours at a friend's house and hated the city layout so I never played it again.

Except that it's too late. People bought 360s without HDDs, because the dumb fucks at MS let them.

  5. Is it really MicroSoft's fault idiots exist?

No, if that were the case, Apple wouldn't exist.

  7. Everyone forsaw this problem ;/

Here's the thing though. Over 90% of the systems out there are premiums. A large chunk of the other <10% now have HDs I would imagine. This game should definitely be HD required, and if you don't have one, tough. You need a HD to play FF11, after all.

  8. Ugh, this sounds like preemptive damage control to me. "Don't blame us for GTAIV being lackluster, blame the XBOX 360 Core system!"

Serously, what MORE could they do with this game to make it more apealing? I really dont see how GTA4 is going to be that much better than the last one.

  10. I wonder how many hard drives MS sold, it'd be interesting to see how many HD less 360's there are.
