I'm really surprised a lot of you guys liked Neo. I thought it sucked.

Worst voice acting ever.ever.I mean bleeding ears type bad.

And the game itself was just boring. All I saw was a Gauntlet clone with some fancy 'Shining Force' art. Having to run through a level and kill monster gate after monster gate with the main characters' stale unoriginal single button attack over and over again was a yawn fest.Yeah, I knew about the "slots" on your weapon that allow you to pull off a Taunt or clear tactic, and the thought of having to go through hundreds if not thousands of monsters with just that + the stale normal attack until I learned another technique did not fill me with glee.

That and you couldnt even control your tag-along party members or outfit them how you see fit.

So yeah, pass. I dont know what you guys who liked it saw that I didnt. Unless you tortured yourself for hours more than I did and am seeing something special that I'm not...

Jetman: thanks for your impressions. I trust Dirtysouth 100% though. (If he lets me down, I will kick his ass when he visits Denmark this summer.) If Shining Force Neo/Exa are anything close to ROLW, then I won't be disappointed.
