Thread: The Workout Thread

  1. I did some running today for the first time in about five months. I'm not really a fan of cardio in any way, but it felt pretty good. I hit chest after and was quite a bit weaker than normal. It made for a frustrating day.

  10. Frankly, Kidnemo, I have to agree with Pa (and probably several other people in this thread). You need to start making some kind of positive contribution, 'cause the whole "I'm Mr. Arrogant supertrainer know-it-all" act is wearing very thin. Seriously.

    Why do cardio before lifting and take away from your strength and endurance? Do cardio afterwards, when you've already burned up your energy and lifted with maximum intensity and can just concentrate on endurance and burning fat. This is just my opinion, but I've read enough (there's tons of info on the net and in print backing me up) and praticed it enough to see that it works, at least for me.

    See? It's not that hard to actually intelligently back up your opinion instead of just popping in and bitching that everyone's doing everything wrong without saying why, which is all you ever do. Unless you have a flawless physique (trust me, you don't- none of us do) you really need to get with the spirit of the thread and chill the fuck out.
