  1. Sadly, I have not done the P90 in 8 months. Since moving in July, I haven't made the time and with HSGF's Mega Divorce Drama getting more fantastical by the day, I'm claiming laziness.

    The one good thing I have done is I've had this lame ass metal spike-bungee cord-bag thing for kicking a football thing (OMG KIK MEDIK), which, when you grind away the top of the metal so the shit doesn't gank up every single time you kick it, isn't half bad.

    I put in about an hour a day for 6 weeks working on left foot only (I'm a n00b with that and always refused to do it) and, between that and 30 mins a day of juggling/ball work, it's gotten a lot better.

    Next up is Indoor starting next month and I'll get back to OKRA! after that.

    Yeah, Bruce fucked up his back big-time with Good Mornings. Dude was in the hospital for months or something like that, all because he supposedly didn't warm-up enough. But I love how a simple weightlifting fuck-up wasn't "dramatic" enough when they shot Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story, so they changed it to Bruce getting sucker-kicked in the back after winning a fight.

    I'd say try Hyperextensions. Bodyweight exercises are almost always the safest, and I find you can control your form a lot more easily. And if you start getting stronger you can hold a plate while doing them (and if you want to try a strip set, drop the plate when you can't do any more reps and eke out a few more). I personally don't do much direct lower back work because I do a lot of other exercises that hit that area indirectly, such as T-Bar rows and shit.

    Met with a trainer today who did the bodyfat calipers, and told me I'm doing everything right in terms of what I eat and how I exercise. She seemed totally shocked that I used to weigh over 200 pounds. Going to meet up again after my 10 week Max-OT stint (starting monday, fuck the world!) to see what changes have happened.

    I have 6.2 pounds of fat to lost to be at my short term goal for my desired body composition. I'm stoked, I can totally do this.

    Dogsitting Niea this weekend! Took her for a 3.5 mile walk which runkeeper only tracked the start and stop points of

    I'm getting ready to go curl some crab and artichoke dip, and maybe do a seated french fry press. Perhaps a set or two of Dogfish 90min reverse flys.

    Saturdays are AWESOME.

  7. Did legs today at the gym. Went up to 6 reps with 16 45lb plates on leg press (8 plates on each side). Later, I tripped over my sister's dog and did a faceplant on the living room floor. My bell's still rung. Ow.

    BTW, it's a Manwich night.
