The send off was 5min. But I actually swam them in :58/avg.
Do I just put down the pace or maybe just keep the send-off time?
Your swim pace is broken, at least on your last set. I posted the math in the comments. SO FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING CHEAT.

I'm sick, at home with sick kids, so I'm going to knock out a bunch of body-weight related quests today, once they're asleep.

Its nowhere near as difficult as running straight through the full mileage. Because of how things are broken up with the obstacles and what-not, you'll run a bit, do an obstacle, run a bit, do an obstacle. The physical conditioning required to do any of the obstacles is minimal, the running is by far the hardest part.
I'd take the whatever the mileage is and divide it in half, make sure you can run that at a steady pace (toss in some hills as well) and you'll be fine. I would keep your money from buying that program FO SHO.
I hate running, but I kinda wanna get into the tough mudder things, and part of me wants to train for the Boston Marathon just because that seems like it'd be an amazing accomplishment. Then I thought about shitting myself while running 26 miles and lost interest in that![]()
Running is really fucking great, I love it so much, my problem is I'm a fragile little baby and my joints can't take it. Run if you can man, next to swimming, it's one of the best ways to boost endurance and improve your cardiovascular system's ability to do its job. Just ease into it, if you haven't run consistently you can get some nagging pains if you don't build up your runs slowly.

Nurse that until it heals. I actually was at an sports medicine orthopedic specialist today for my knees and fortunately the structural integrity of my knees is pristine so I'm not at high risk for injury. But in the same sentence, he mentioned if I had the same type of pain in my Achilles I am at very high risk because that is one part of the body that is extremely susceptible to injury, tears, and possibly ruptures if not healed and treated properly.
Completely coincidental I had that conversation today with a doctor, but it's definitely something I wanted to share since you said you were having pain in that area.

Yeah it's been slowly getting worse too, but I can't tell what's making it worse. Probably shouldn't start running though
Looks like it could be Rock Climbing. That makes me a level of sad I cannot explain.

I walked close to seven miles today and only stopped because of a strong police presence.
There is the possibility of a 40 mile walk to DC in a couple weeks.
