Japan: Wii Beats PS3 5-to-1 in May

I doubt either of those are going to be the system sellers. At least not in Japan. MGS doesn't sell for shit, and I believe that FFXII didn't do as well as previous FF's (although I may be wrong on that).

It's the country that ignored the old Phantasy Star games and Panzer Dragoon Saga. Japan has always had surprisingly bad taste in JRPGs considering how big they are there.

As long as it's not full retail, one of these games at a $50 price point seems wrong.

I'd really like to see Nintendo adopt a bit more of it's DS attitude to the Wii. The Wii gets Nintendo's standard New Mario Party, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Smash Brothers, and few bland looking second party helpings. Nintendo on the DS and GBA released/published Elite Beat Agents, Hotel Dusk, Tengoku, Bit Generations and many more, that kind of creative risk is what the Wii needs IMO. *-neo
