Thread: 11 Years of Famicom in Five Minutes

  1. #21
I went through to see how many I knew (and double checked the names on some of I sort of knew). Luckily, these are mostly well known games for people that owned the computers. I found the C64 one slightly easier but they both focus mostly on well known and praised games, making them great starter lists for those who missed out on the systems but are interested in checking them out now.

Holy shit. I don't want to know how long that took. If it wasn't long, you're tying up brain cells instead of time.

  3. #23
For me to make the lists? It was over an hour but I did it like 10 minutes at a time so it didn't drive me nuts.

There's no way I'm going to list all the Famicom games in the first video, though. If anyone's interested, the FC Database has pics of them all. http://www.geocities.jp/f_tamakoku/f...abaseframe.htm

I'm glad there is someone else out there wasting as many brain cells on trivia as I am.

  5. C-64

    #82 = Gunsmoke (?)

    Amiga
#47 = F/A 18 Interceptor (One of the first games I'd bought for my Amiga)
    #89 = Battle Squadron.

Ah, yes. Battle Squadron. I used to have the Genesis version although the Amiga one's better.

I did some looking and C64's #82 is a demo game called Outlaw in SEUCK(Shoot 'em up Construction Kit).

  7. I have the Shoot em' up construction kit for the Amiga. I remember playing the demo, but making a game from all the generic sounds didn't fair too well. You could download midi files, but I didn't have access to such files at that time.

Gunsmoke ,on the C-64, played very much like outlaw. It would appear that outlaw was a ripoff of that title, but it's been nearly 10 years since I've played either.
