Not that I really care about the legality of it, but what do you mean by, "get rid of the hard copies."?
look here, upon a sig graveyard.

Sell em at the swap meet!
I must confess, I have "backed up" an expensive game or two and sold the original.
Ill just sell them to a used movie and DVD store for a couple of free lunches.
There are always going to be my favourite movies i want to own. But owning the DVD doesnt make them any more or less special. And if my hard drive fails some day then ill just redownload them.
And if i forget about a few of them whilst redownloading then theyre probably not as treasured as i thought they were.

I throw the paper boxing they come in away. I keep the plastic casing unless there's something particularly special or ornate about it like The Big Lebowski's box (which I have since sold).

I'm the guy who watches all of those special features, and it's harder to find that stuff online than you might think.
I have been looking for a rip of the bonus disc that comes with the complete Smallville DVD set for like a year. Maybe I'm using the wrong sites.
DISCLAIMER: I would BUY that disc if they sold it separately, but I already have all 10 seasons of Smallville on DVD/Bluray so I can't justify buying them all over again for the one documentary.
Finally watched it. Loved it. Great characters, even better interactions. Rare good comic book movie. I've since watched it 3 more times. I want another Captain America movie.

I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.
