Back on topic, the Star Wars invasion has begun (but is not over):

And, finally, some more unique stuff. Most of this are the Star Wars Micros, which were die cast figurines and smaller sets, but the yellow molds and the Snow Speeder are Play-Dough:



I think the Ewok Village is with the G.I. Joe Terrordrome in a big ass box I haven't gotten to.

Hardly. My parents just sacrificed a lot for us, and I did get a lot from grandparents. That's more where the money was. It also helped I was an only child for almost 6 years and then only had one sister until I was done with toys.

I was an anal retentive kid. I overheard my mother and wife talking about my obsession with not losing miniscule weapons over Christmas:

Wife: "I'm just not like him."
Mother: "There's no one like him."

Whatever the foam was they use for the Dagobah swamp disintegrated in the box though. The trash from the micro Death Star compactor seemed to be the same stuff, but it's perfectly fine. Maybe it was the brown dye or something.

That's also the end of this load, so it'll be months before I can get into anything else.
