Some of those robot designs are really great.
In 72 they had their Combat Joe which were licensed GI Joe remolds, followed by Henshin Cyborg which were clear bodied Joes. Then Microman.

Alright, you're right about the joes. But the whole idea of action figures of everyone in the show wouldn't really hit its stride until the late 80s and early 90s in japan. It wasn't uncommon for mecha shows to only release the mechs. Japan didn't get macross figures like we did Robotech figures.
What does any of this have to do with Chux being happy about finding a US Power Rangers toy that he knew about from watching the show growing up? How did we get from Yoshi saying he was too old to watch Power Rangers in the 90's to where we are now? As is par for the course, you took a point no one was talking about and pounded it in to the ground.
