I think it took me 10 or more years to build that guy. He disappeared off of shelves by the time I had kid money. So I ended up slowly building mine by finding him in toy boxes at flea markets.
I finally got all the bits to make him...and play with him at all and he falls apart.

As I've said in the past, I've been getting into doing custom figures as of late. I've been getting a lot of tips from that dude who made the Commando and Predator Arnold figs for me back in the day and I've been trying my hand lately with part modding and swapping, painting, and all that shit. Getting pretty decent with it IMO (as well as photographing it), and I thought I'd start posting stuff here because I love you all so.
Here's my custom of Simon Adebisi from Oz. The actor who played him was also in the first GI Joe movie...albeit with hair. They released a figure of him that pretty much nailed his likeness, so I sanded his hair down, matched the paint color, made a little hat, and came up with a custom of everyone's favorite prison drug dealer and rapist.
