Thread: Official Toy Thread

  1. #3201
I would be okay if that Fort Maxiums was smaller, like the scale of OG Scorponok or something. But yeah, $100+ is a killer.

Yeller is on to something though, that powermaster Optimus was my favorite childhood toy, I still have the TRU rerelease in my office. If they made one of those I'd probably cave too.

  2. I suppose this can go here. A mom was trying to "save the children" by having Breaking Bad figures removed from Toys R' Us.

Here's the petition to get them back on shelves.

  3. Toys R Us generally does a good job remembering that the parent is the one holding the wallet.

They clearly need to keep carrying figures for adult collectors, but I don't care if anyone carries anything from Breaking Bad.

  5. First they came for Walter White, and I said nothing.

This. As long as they keep stocking serial killer figures.

  8. I don't know about that (DMC doesn't really move the dial for me), but NECA's Alien Queen is going to take my money.

That's a near statue level sculpt, it has a nice blend of sculpt and poseability so I may have to buy this.

It's supposed to have 35(!) points of articulation, so it may very well be NECA's more articulated figure yet (something they've improved by leaps and bounds in recent years). That's the first one from than I've ever seen with double knee joints, for example. Hell, while packing up for my move (packing toys is the PITS) I was looking over my old NECA Terminator figures, which don't even have posable legs.

I just wish the coat wasn't sculpted looking wind-blown, but whatever.
