The fact that neither of the Cameron-directed Terminators are mentioned completely invalidates this list.

What single scene from T1 would make this list? Sure, I can think of great dialogue scenes from the first movie...

"Terminators can't feel pain. I do. Don't do that again."

"It won't stop, EVER, until you...are dead!"

...but what single scene stands out?

On second thought, the first disco scene in T1 (where Arnie first comes across Sarah Connor) still resonates. And the whole 'escape from the asylum' scene (from Sarah fucking up the orderly to T1000's 'hand' left on the trunk of deputy's car) still rocks.

All most all the major action scenes in Hard Boiled. The opening teahouse scene as well as the hospital scene comes to mind. They should look even better on the Special edition dvd that comes out next week.
