Basically, you have a shitty war that strengthens the identity of a religious group and leaves them without a home; you have that group move and take over an area held by a group that has lived in it for centuries but under the government of far off countries, and then you have the second group try to regain that land through extremely stupid and self-destructive means. This leads to a pissing contest in that no one wins, because everyone is too small viewed to realise they're basically the same shit and both sides are too far gone to conceed and compromise.

I would have enjoyed this finale more if when the land grabber finally gave up on negotiations... he would have tied up Farfour with some rope and duct tape, throw gasoline on him, walked over to the shelve, turned on a transistor radio, it play Hava Nagila, pull a switch blade from his boot, then commence to dance.

I can only think this sort of thing will backfire on them - when the kids grow up a little and realize it was fake, they'll question everything they've been taught, just like when Christian kids learn the truth about Santa Claus.
