Thread: EXIT Mickey Mouse

  1. For one the indians were not united. Different warring tribes were settled here. We came and conquerd them as we united ourselves.
We took land from a united, legit country and gave it to the jews.

Just because the jews supposedly had some kind of kingdom where Palestine is 3000 years ago dosent mean it's theirs now. You lose, you lose, there should not be free handouts because they got killed.
Just like how the reperations should not be given to all black people because their ancestors were slaves.

And dont act like Israel does not do anything. They bomb back.

No, we took land from a previously conquered colony and gave it to the jews. There was never a legitimate Palestinian country, are you crazy? Before colonization it was part of Jordan (which was under Turkish rule). It hasn't been an independently ruled nation since the Jews had it, and even during much that time they were considered colonies of other empires (you know that whole Romans executing Jesus thing and all).

How much time do the Jews have to be there before it becomes theirs again, then?

And don't say "supposedly" like there isn't a mass of archaeological proof, either. And it's a lot more reacent than 3000 years, too, but that isn't really the point. You're sounding more and more like some anti-semetic propagandist all the time, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you just don't know what you're talking about.

When did I imply anything else?

This gets bandied about a lot, but the truth is that they tried being civil and appealing to the world community, who promptly ignored them for decades. When that failed they appealed to the Arab world, who sent in a coalition of armies to liberate them. That of course turned into a royal fuck-up, and for their trouble the Palestinians lost even more territory.

Let's also try to keep in mind that the first terrorist attacks in the region were by Jewish separatists (The Stern Gang for example) in Palestine who after continued use of bombing attacks and assassinations targeting colonial officials and Arab civilians...won their independence and formed the state of Israel. So, let's not pretend the Palestinians invented these tactics nor were the first to prove their successfulness.

Well the last time the Jews had a country was before Christ died. Somewhere before that.

And don't say "supposedly" like there isn't a mass of archaeological proof, either. And it's a lot more recent than 3000 years, too, but that isn't really the point. Well the last time the Jews had a country was before Christ died. Somewhere before that. The land is theirs but i will never forget that they had to whine to get it.
Thats beside the point. I was not trying to lead to a history contest. The fact is your example of the native of Americas was irrelevant. Just because i don't support Israel because i believe we should never have allied with them does not make me anti-Semitic. I do not hate Jews but i dont believe that they deserved to take anyones land.
These Palestinians had their rights to live without an ethnic minority whom they had already had problems with being set on their doorstep and then forced in. Just because they were killed should not entitle them to any more liberties than anyone else.
You call me an anti-semitic propagandist yet if i reversed it and argued for the zionist state you would have no qualms. You could take the Word Jew and replace it with any other ethnic group and i would still have the exact same problem.

For a self-proclaimed anti-Zionist; you sure seem to be quite the argumentative one.
Why don't i ask you why you are anti-Zionist? You seem to negate every point so well, i question if you know your own beliefs.

Their approach was wrong though. They weren't fighting for equal rights, they were fighting for the jews to pick up and leave and hand over sovereignty, which isn't going to happen.

This much I agree with, but I don't really think it's the point any more, that's what I'm saying.

Right, because you don't listen, you don't answer any of my questions, and you don't know what you're talking about.

I don't believe in any state of and by a certain ethnicity in a heterogenous country. So I don't believe in the Israeli state as it is now, and I don't believe in handing the country over to fucking Hamas, either. I believe in a state that cares for all of its residents.

No one has a birthright to a fucking country. Not the Jews, and not the Palestinians, either. They're both being assholes and until they learn to work within a single system, no one's problems will ever be solved.

Even if you could have put it in less rude terms, i think we found some common ground.
