Thread: White Night Nocturne...

  1. White Night Nocturne...

If there was a thread on this game already, I apologize.

I just picked up the import last night. I've played about 2 hours already, and it is, quite simply, awesome. The best title on the GBA this year, and a true testement to what this system can do when original content is developed.

The graphics make last year's Castlevania look all together average. I've seen multiple effects take place in the first 15 minutes of play that brought a tight grin to my face.

The gameplay is classic Castlevania. No explenation needed, I'm sure.

The GBA is a year old in America this month, and turned a year old in Japan this past March. This second generation action/adventure game proves that Konami has the GBA's capabilities cracked.

I'll see about doing an import review.

One thing I hate to share: The music has definitely taken a hit, sounding slightly electronic. Don't panic, it's not bad at all, just not purchase worthy.

  2. yup great game i beat it a few days back soo much stuff to unlock in it and find

    just a kick ass game

cant ait for the US release so i can actually understand what the hell happened in it *LOL*

  3. Awesome, I'm glad its getting good reviews from you guys.
I think its great that one of my most-wanted games right now is a brand new 2D sidescroller

One question, how long is the game ??

    - Kabuki

  4. Well, I'm looking forward reading your review Bebop , and also will be getting this game when it comes out this September. I will finally get GBA at that time, and pick up both CV games to enjoy

Was there ever any doubt? Still, nice to hear it confirmed.

Coolness. Since it isn't SOTN length, I think I will get the import now and the domestic version in September.

It's easy to play without reading the kanji/kana, right ??

  9. Finally Chucker has come back from vacation.....

Anyhoo I think me and John beat it with 200% on the same day. Only took me 6:45, but then again I had also beat the Saturn Import on Symphony so I'm used to Japanese Castlevania games. In short...am I gonna get the Domestic: Hell yes. It was a great game, and I wanna know what was happening.
