I think this is irrefutable evidence that we are being attacked by the creatures that lurk in the depth. There's just way too much ocean monster activity that's happened over the span of the last year for this to be anything other than an assault. The unmitigated gall these sons of bitches are showing towards land dwellers disgusts me and I don't intend to take this insult sitting down.

I'm pretty sure they must have a sensory organ similar to sharks that detects changes in pressure caused by movement in the water, which guides them to their prey.
Most speices of octopus/squid catch their prey with with 2 main tentacles and guide the food in with the other tentacles straight to their beak.
