While true, this is a little different. You physically had no way to play MGS4 short of getting a PS3. There are several easy ways to watch this.

I've never seen anything past the 2.22 or whatever that the Blu Rays have left off on, and I have been hurting for 3.33 since I finished that one. At Xmas time I put it on my Amazon wishlist and it said "Coming soon!"
Shit, watch 'em now. By the time the next one comes out you can do it again and catch back up on the pertinent information, they're fun as it is. Also a secret sequel to the original!
Perhaps, but there is something way fun about tearing through a series in a weekend.
