  2. That E3 Rock Band performance caused more damage than we thought.

  4. Mattrick brings 23 years of games industry and development experience to the strong Microsoft management team, having helped bring to life such celebrated game franchises as the “Need for Speed,” “Harry Potter” and “The Sims” while at EA.
    Ah, fuck.

  5. Dreamcast

Why should we be scared he was in charge of some really successful franchises?

The guy isn't going to be the creative director, he's going to be handling business decisions.

  6. Yes, but I have absolutely no use for any of the franchises he oversaw before. Success doesn't equal personal interest, otherwise the Wii would be a huge hit around here.

  7. I kinda liked Peter, he made for some great photoshops if nothing else.

  8. Now Reggie from Nintendo has to resign and then along with Moore and Kutaragi he can form a new company, PR Out the Ass.

Peter was supposedly one of the driving forces behind what Japanese support the Xbox 360 has been able to scrape up. Hopefully this isn't bad news for the future of such relationships.

  10. Dreamcast

I've been a huge fan of Moore's since the DC; but I don't believe this new guy will fail to cultivate business relationships or fail to manage the business well.

    Just my .02.
