I think I'm going to enjoy Sylar as Spock. That Shaun of the Dead guy as Scotty is a good choice IMO. The rest are WTF. But it's a rebirth so I suppose that's kind of the point.

More casting news is filtering in regarding J.J. Abram's Star Trek reboot. To date his casting choices have been…strange and unexpected to say the least, but this newest announcement fill us with equal parts of bewilderment and anticipation. Former porn queen Jenna Jameson has been cast in her first mainstream film role as Nurse Chapel. Played by Gene Roddenberry's wife Majel Barrett in the original series, Nurse Chapel was Dr. McCoy's loyal assistant. Needless to say, the on-going saga of Star Trek reboot casting has us scratching our heads.
Rumored (but unconfirmed) is a cameo by Jameson's boyfriend, UFC fighter Tito Ortiz.
