Read the book a few years ago. I'm going next weekend as well. Doesn't seem to be a Gilliam head-fuck, but really, Fear and Loathing was a one time thing. Can't wait to see this movie.

Weird moments in the film for sure. Seemed very unfocused. They shoulda just Duke'd the shit out of this movie if they weren't worried about the book that much. It was watchable though.
I liked the movie! Text epilogues bug me, but it wasn't a horrible flick by any means.
