Ridin' Dirty is the best rap song of all time.
I am not a fan of rap, the song just makes me giggle when I'm ridin' dirty in my tinted whip.
Black people need to stop feeling like they're responsible for the n-word. If they can have fun with it, then cool, but when it gets used by people inappropriately, well... that's not their fault. It's a word with an ugly history, and that's not black people's fault.
If white people decide to announce a funeral for the word it'll mean something, but as it stands all this guilt black people carry over the word seems misplaced. There is a disempowering of the word that goes on with rap music, and I don't think rappers should feel bad about using it.
Fuck that.
The word is our responsibility ever since we took it out of the hands of whites. There is no disempowerment, just making of ourselves to sound like babbling buffoons.
The word needs to be eradicated from our vocabulary. Fuck everybody else, we need to stop saying the goddamn word. The sooner we do that, the sooner everyone else will stop trying to emulate us.

I could go either way. But like I said; either everyone uses it or no one uses it at all. Thus this argument will be around for another two hundred years.

See, there is a good reason why the words Gay or fag have no power. Everyone started to use those words to describe everything. Cars are now gay, toasters are now gay, your trip to Florida is now gay, your home work is gay, Lawschool is gay, the Wii is gay, your mother is gay, etc, etc.
Those words became everything, and in doing so, became nothing.
If the N words wants to become the new fag, then it needs to become OK for everyone to call anything and everything the N word.
