If I'm already paying $600 per class, I consider an extra $100 justifiable if it helps me learn the material. In a series of events that isn't really that interesting, I became a "born-again" student a little over a year ago. Instead of attending class simply to get grades, I'm here to learn, and I'm doing everything I can to achieve that goal.

  3. I get 500 bucks back from my school loans for text books; each semester. On top of it they are cookbooks I can use for the rest of my life. No big thing.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

  4. I got through university with out of date books that cost me next to nothing. The difference between the 3rd and 4th revision of the required calculus text I had in first year is that it has different extraneous shit in the margins, and question 4a was changed to 5e or whatever.
    Textbooks are a racket.

  5. I honestly never bought a textbook in my whole college experience. I spent a lot of time in the library, though. I absolutely refused to pay $100+ for a book i would use once.

  6. I'm never getting rid of my A&P books.

  7. The only textbooks I didn't keep was my Canadian history ones. I have regretted it for years. That was a great class and those were good books.

  8. I'm half surprised there aren't textbooks formatted for .cbr readers.

I'm kind of surprised how bad business school students are at fucking the system. I can't find hardly any of this shit for free. I had to get the stupid global editions.

Come on guys, you should know how to save money.

In a year or two, it'll all be eBook format.
