That Too Early for a Fish Sandwich? video from last year finally made its way to me. The orange bearded Marylander in the video played the sea monster on Captain Chesapeake, which is a show I watched in the early 80's.

I went to a cigar bar last night. Wood paneling, animals on the walls, middle aged townies in construction smoking novelty sized cigars and watching hockey and The O'Reilly Factor.
I'm 33 years old and got that feeling of "I'm going to be grounded if my parent or guardian finds out I'm here."
It was fun and stinky.
Yes, yes, good good.
I just did a speed test on my TWC cable line, since a friend mentioned they were pulling 50 mbps after having the lines in his house replaced. My speed jumped from around 18 mbps a few months ago to 56 mpbs. I'm still cutting it as soon as I have a viable alternative.
I just cut ATT because I am moving and why not try something new. They didn't even try to ask me to stay, I was hoping they'd make me an offer.
After more than a year off Ancient Warlocks played our return show last night. We have two new guys, singer/guitar player and bass player. We wanted to get them a tune up show without overwhelming them with 'the big comeback show' so we performed under the name Youth Pastor and told very few people what was really going on. Well the place was fairly thronged anyway and it was fun to see that many of our friends and fans had no clue and were really only there for the two openers who are both great and long time buddy bands of ours. To add to the slight confusion we started off with only new material. I was quite pleased to see that the crowd was eating it right up. But then when we started the old material these people lost their fucking shit. They were singing along at the top of their lungs!!! I have never had that happen before and it was fucking SWEET. I wasn't worried about how we'd sound instrumentally but you know how laypeople get attached to the voice so I had a bit of apprehension. Luckily everybody loved the new guy and I got more than one review from audience members saying that he's better than the old singer. Felt good. So we are back and it is on.
