I still have cable because Justi wants it. She works from home and keeps the TV on in the background with housewife bullshit like NCIS. If it was solely up to me, I'd have cut it out long ago (as I had for years before we moved in together.)

Boo, Hiss.
The background TV habit is the hardest one to break.
Background youtube is so much better.
Wife has netflix, she watches those cop shows for background noise.
I watch a lot of background youtube at work.
We've started turning a profit on my side business. This is the greatest news. Our main developer is already going full-time and we have a small office in a co-op space down the street from me. At this rate 2 more of us will be able to go full-time before the end of the year is out. I'm excited to finally be my own boss.
Even though it won't hold me back I feel slightly split about leaving my current job. They've been very good to me and my boss has taught me a lot — she won't be happy about it but she's also very entrepreneurial (her husband has his own company too) so I believe she'll understand and respect my position.

Gave my final interview as a chef today. 4 hours long. I don't know how that translates into an article, but it's quite a tale.
