Thread: The Mighty Thor

  1. The Mighty Thor

Matthew Vaughn, helmer of Layer Cake and the just-released Neil Gaiman adaptation Stardust (and Bryan Singer's initial replacement on X3, until the insane studio politics that gave us... what we got [to put it kindly]... drove him off), will direct from a script by Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend, Poseidon, The Cell... this part's somewhat worrisome). Here's hoping it turns out awesome, Thor has always been my favorite comic character.

    Hmm.
I'm indifferent about this one. I'm not a huge Thor fan. but he does have some intersting stuff going on. I personally prefure Beta Ray Bill cus he kicked his ass.
Im wondering if it will have more Asgard or more Midgard. Ill be watching this as it develops.

And with the beard. HHH looks alot like Thor.

  4. He's already got a feel for Mjolnir.

  5. I'll admit HHH looks the part to a tee, but has he ever done any real acting?

Sucks cus he could really play him. If only Thor didn't talk.

I'm wondering what style they will use. Will it be classic style:

    Or closer to Ultimate Style:

He was in the third Blade, as well as episodes of "Pacific Blue" and "Grown Ups"

"They pretty much fucking ass-raped us!"

    Shakespeare quality, that.
I'm not a devious man by nature... but when you're unarmed, your tactics might gonna be downright Archimedean.

  9. Agreed. Based on looks, HHH could play both styles of Thor. However, if they went with Ultimate style, HHH should be the number one choice.

  10. I prefer the kinda psycho, seemingly delusional Ultimate Thor.
