    I was a big fan of his Impulse and Fantastic Four stuff with Mark Waid.
    Liefeld will live to be a hundred.

  7. I assumed that he was a great big fatty, but quite the contrary:
    Wieringo was 44 years old. He was a vegetarian, and "one of the healthiest ones of us in the bunch," as his longtime friend and collaborator Todd Dezago described him.
    Wow. It's scary when a guy that young drops dead of something like a heart attack. Must have had some kind of defect, or a massive history of heart problems in his family.

  9. yeah, on Ellis' Bad Signal, he mentioned that after years of trying to do something together, he and Weiringo were supposed to get something going later this year.
