Looks like they fell in love with Prince of Persia's art style. Still, that's a lot better than the typical brown and gritty style that nearly everyone else using UE3 seems to go for.
I wasn't expecting that change but I approve, based on that pic anyway.
I don't love it, but I admit they're better off with a more distinctive style, especially given the thematic overlap with Rage.

I still don't know how this game is supposed to work. It had looked like a Halo clone up until this point, so I'm assuming that gameplay is still intact... but the mention of RPG elements leaves me hopeful that this will be like an extension of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
