Alright, I've had enough. Hudson County's public transportation is getting worse as the price of fuel goes up so I'm going to have to buy a car soon. Maybe by the end of the summer.
My question:
1.) Scion xB. Does it get good mileage? And how much would a used one run me? Which year is the best model?
2.) Insurance. Guys from North Jersey, which is the one you use and how much?
3.) Guns. Should I fit it with one?
I'm already looking for a driving school to help me with a parking lesson. After that I'll most likely have to pay to borrow the car for my road test. Sigh.
Edmunds says an 05 will run about $10k http://www.edmunds.com/scion/xb/2005/index.html
If you look in the consumer reviews people seem to average 32-34mpg.
Insurance is too much of a local thing. You have to ask which carriers people in your area use and find out from them who is cheap.
Geiko is a good one. Safe Auto as well.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
