That car is the reason why I'd never actually buy a Miata, 'cause for the same price I could get a nicely built Cobra kit car that'd spank the shit out of the Miata in both speed and beauty. It's probably the best looking car ever made. I was out riding a local twisty highway last Friday and coming the opposite direction came barreling one of these bad boys (a kit I'm sure) from around the corner. The moment I saw it I flipped it a thumbs up which the driver returned, obviously enjoying the hell out of that little car.
The Sprite Mk. 1 was the car i wanted very badly when i turned 16 and was able to drive and thus able to want an automobile. I would pick up British sports car mags and look at all the Sprite listings.
Dude, nah way. If you're going Triumph, go for the old ones, TR5 with its funny face at the latest. I'd go Aston Martin 80's and earlier if i could, but otherwise an Austin Healey 3000, or the delicious Triumph GT6 which has always been the object of my affection. But it wouldn't be my choice, either.
I would say a TR7, or an MGA
That's why you have to keep the original engine. If you want to drive it, you're going to have to work on it. There's not much kick, but they have a hell of a sound. Fire extinguisher is included in standard equipment.Plus there is that whole, "My fingernails are permanently stained with grease, because I built this thing" machismo.
Granted, i've only ridden in an Austin Healey 3000, but most of those are tiny cars.MGB, TR7. Neither had functional electrical systems.
So you'd pick a Fiero over a Miata? TYPICAL.That car is the reason why I'd never actually buy a Miata, 'cause for the same price I could get a nicely built Cobra kit car that'd spank the shit out of the Miata in both speed and beauty. The Meyers Manx was the most awesome kit ever made. It was the automobile i wanted if i didn't get a Sprite. I didn't get either.

I picked up an oil filter at the Mazda dealer today so I checked out the new Mazda 6. The exterior is really plain and boring in person. They are jacked way up high with crazy wheel gap and it's too rounded, looks like a lump. The interior was nice though. I liked the feel of all the switches and buttons. The dash material was way nicer and softer than in my 8 (which is pretty hard). I saw one of the refreshed RX8s too. The new front is hideously ugly![]()
Seeing as it's a fiberglass body with no reinforcement whatsoever, any kind of wreck would be nasty.

Is this a new design direction for Toyota?
Toyota Avensis, the Euro equivalent of the Avalon. It will debut in October at the Paris Auto Show.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
The new design direction is kinetic styling!
And speaking of that Miata redesign, Mazda's main design dude was lured away to Tesla motors last month. All those awesome radical concepts like the Furai, Nagare, Kazami, Kabura: his. Not sure what they are going to do now, they got proper fucked. They'll probably continue to move ahead with that direction, but since the guy behind it is gone who knows how it will turn out.
