Exactly the jacket I was gonna recommend. Got an e-mail notification about that deal a week or so ago.
They were pretty stiff at first, but broke in pretty quickly and I've no complaints. They claim to be water resistant--have you put them to that test? I don't plan on riding in heavy rains, but I don't want drizzles to stop me. I have a feeling they're pretty air tight 'cause they make my socks smell a lot mustier than any normal shoes I wear
P.S. Josh, get some gloves and a jacket quick. You may be "only riding around town" but all those intersections and cross traffic are the most dangerous part of two wheeling. I actually feel significantly safer on freeways and windy backroads than I do in the city.
I currently have a leather jacket, but I'll freeze to death in a month.
I'll take that ONE INTO CONSIDERATION FOR SURE. THANKS.
I'm not fixing that caps lock issue.
Protective leather is a great deal more durable than designer leather. I've got a couple of leather jackets 'cause I'm cool like that, but they would shred against the stuff my moto jacket would withstand.
I haven't given them the rain test yet, either. Mine are still a pain in the ass to put on/take off (I've only used them like ten times riding my dad's bike). Unfortunately in Florida you don't "plan" on heavy rains... they roll in, there's a torrential downpour for about ten minutes, and then the sun's back out ten minutes later.
Every time I look at Grassroots Motorsports' '77 Saab 99 rally car, I like it a little more. I know it has to be pretty slow and handle pretty vaguely (just look at the ground clearance!) but it looks so fun to drive.

Oh Tones, I checked out a couple of issues of GRM on your recommendation. Solid mag, but it's too focused on racing for my tastes. Unfortunately the same is true for most motorcycle mags. I'm just not into racing![]()
2010 Shelby Mustang. The interior is eh.
Why did they add the zebra print? Its not like its disguising the shape or form.
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
I don't understand the '10 Mustang at all. They're pulling a Porsche. The new model looks the exact same as the old one. I also read powertrains will be the same as the current model, so it will still have the weak v8 instead of an ecotech v6 and a competitive v8.
