Finished level 1 autocross school today. In addition to the basics, I learned some of the finer points of cornering and it paid off in the last run. For experienced drivers, it should take 53-58 seconds to finish the .7 mi course. I finished it in 60.3 seconds, which was within 3 seconds of my instructor. Pretty proud of myself. Level 2 is next where they put you through more drills (i.e., slalom), but that will have to wait until next year.
Oh, I also saw another BR-Z on the course. Looked good. With a good driver, that car will give people fits.
Double Oh, that 14-year old kid I previously posted videos of was at the school. Good kid. Extremely talented. No lie, he could've been an instructor if it was needed. Saw him on the course after our session was over and saw a future Indy or F1 driver. It's nuts. It's like seeing Mario Andretti or some other famous race car driver before anyone knows who they are.

"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." Unknown
