Thread: Official Car Thread :: Vol 2 :: Now with More Bikes!

  1. #931
I'm also a firm believer in (auto) karma. I once scraped the bumper of a beater Camry when I was pulling into a tight space. Despite already having multiple dents and scratches, I left my full information. It's just the right thing to do imo.

  2. We are getting the Fiesta! But not till 2010. Ford needs this car here NOW or everyone is going to go to the Japanese for good small cars. Look how good that interior looks. Keep the quality high Ford or nothing changes. If they shitty this up for the American market I will be so pissed.

They'll probably stretch the car 6" in length, 4" in width, remove the side bolstering in the buckets, have an autobox only, and de-hatch it. It's the American way.

  5. I didn't mention this in my last post, but they are off to a poor start because our Fiestas are getting built in Mexico.

  6. ughh. That's never good.

Also: GM is closing a ton of factories. Most are SUV and Truck's. The entire staff is being transferred to the plants in Pontiac and Dearborn ... those plants make G6's and Malibu's.

Except the Fusion built in Hermosillo (IIRC) has received high marks across the board since release. Mexicans work their asses off.

Didn't know that, but I do know that nobody wants VWs made in Mexico.
