Taken from the Shmups board, Starfish's remake of the Taito arcade shooter is bound for the US. A interesting tidbit about the canned Kai Kai Kai 2 as well.
Game looks like it may be coming to the United States by way of UFO Interactive:

UFO Interactive has published a couple of Starfish games in the past in the US, so it makes sense in a way.
As another random side note, Kai Kai World also popped up on Gamefly as being published for the Wii in the US by UFO Interactive as well... I know after Kiki Kai Kai was cancelled for the PS2 a lot of rumors started murmuring that the game had moved to Wii development, so it would be interesting to see if Kai Kai World is actually this "new" Kiki Kai Kai for the Wii.
Gamefly has a tendency of "breaking" stories of games being released here before they are officially announced. They did it with Guilty Gear for the Wii before the Wii port of the game was even mentioned by Arc System Works (let alone Aksys - the US publishers).
They must have a huge spy network of ninjas working behind the scenes to get the information they update their games listings with.

I see this, but where is my Raiden 3? What ever happened to that, it kept getting put on hold.
Still not thinking right? Then it isn't working.
Oh wait, they stopped the holds? I thought they were holding it till September...
Well darn, got to go look for it. Even though I have the PC version. (crappy computer)

WTF..out of all shooters to remake its Cloud Master? I actually had the game eons ago on the SMS. So is this remake any good?
Between this and Star Soldier, I'm almost starting to not think the Wii completely sucks.
Almost.

Odd that this didn't get a Dragonball tie-in.
