Played it for an hour last night and I really like it. Seems to be quite a deep little shooter. Hope to get some more time with it today, if Bioshock doesn't consume me again.

ABOUT ME.
"Underground music should have its back turned, it needs to be gone, untrackable, unreadable"
It is not that, I mean, he obviously played the hell out of this game himself, so he knows the ins and outs. Like I said, there are plenty of times I can't see shit, but you DO have audio cues to let you know what is going on. It is a valid complaint, but you can just tell he did it on purpose to force you to listen as well as see what you are doing. So you have a chance to survive. It is fine you don't like this game, but I am not making shit up to defend this game.
It's not just you, it's a theme I've been noticing:
Hey, what's up with the graphics? They look like smeared vomit.
Oh, don't worry about that. It's all part of his brilliant vision.
But hang on a sec, I can't see what's going on sometimes!
It's cool, man, he meant for that to happen. You need to use your ears.
Oh, but wait, this game sucks, it's really boring, and I'm not having any fun at all.
Hey hey lay off. You have to *learn* it. A minimum of five hours play time is required before your opinion gains an iota of relevance -- but then only if it's positive. Otherwise, you just don't understand the game.
Oh boy..I got the 10 mil tutorial achievement. Go me!
The more I play the better I like it. I just stopped wasting jump-pods prior to every bulling run and started doing revolutionary things like earning extra lives and the bonus round. I'm still learning how to play properly and that's part of the fun.

I downloaded the trial demo and I didn't like it... not worth 400 MS Points seemed like a wanna be Tempest on a fucked up acid trip.
He's a talented enough programmer that if these were real issues to him, he could've developed the game differently. Go look at T2K. The graphics were obviously deliberate as was the need to use your ears when your eyes fail. If you don't like that, or understand that it's part of the design, then that's cool. It's not like this was some rushed piece of shit that's fucked up because of shoddy programming. It was obviously intended.
So, I'm not getting anywhere near 10 mil in the tutorial even though I'm making plenty of bull runs throughout. Is there some secret scoring technique I'm missing?
