Thread: Looking for flat-panel monitor

  1. Looking for flat-panel monitor

    I want:
    24-26"
    1080p w/ HDMI
headphone jack for my new HS 595s

Anyone have something they can recommend?

  2. The smallest 1080p flat-panel moniter I can think of is the Sharp 32" which runs for around $1400.

  3. I think it's pretty obvious he's talking about computer monitors. Nobody's stupid enough to buy a 24" 1080p HDTV.

    Ah, ^^^ fail.

  5. You planning on using it as anything but a computer monitor? Because the price of an excellent 22 inch is still much less than the price of a shitty 24-26 inch.

  6. No headphone jack, but I love the BenQ FP241W:

I still haven't tested it with anything less than a component connection (sorry, Voltz), but it's an excellent PC monitor.

  7. Yeah, another of that BenQ line (the VW) DOES have a headphone jack, and I am looking at that one. I think that is the one I am going to buy.

  8. Sounds good to me.

  9. I wouldn't trust the headphone jack on a computer monitor.
Every single one I've ever tested has produced noticeable interference in the audio signal.
Anyway, you might want to check out the ViewSonic VX2835wm, although it's a 28" display.

  10. So, I'm considering getting this:

Any thoughts? It's a little more than I want to spend right now and I'd rather get an HDTV around that size. But, I'm pretty sick of playing my 360 on my 14" TV ever since my 2001FP broke.
