When they do this slow drip, individual releases get more attention, and they make more money over a longer period of time. It's the same reason that MS doesnt throw up every XBLA game on the marketplace the second they are approved.

Nintendo is just ripping ROMS, they could do it all in 10 minutes.

I really think the VC would rock if they just threw tons of games up there and then put a shifting spotlight on certain titles. Maybe a slight discount for those.
If they're not adding any kind of features, I don't have a clue why that's not EXACTLY what they're doing, y'know?
Maybe in 2015, once they get around to releasing "Puss 'n Boots" or something, on a Wednesday, they'll figure that out.
