Fred Thompson was a terrible Senator and now that he's realized he's failed as an actor he wants to try and sneak back into politics. Fail.

Time for a change
I don't get how anyone can say "Yeah, great, Fred Thompson is the real deal." or anything remotely positive about him when he's in the same party as the only real candidate in the entire election, Ron Paul. I mean, I get how Yoshi can say it, because his political views are borderline retarded, but I don't get how anyone else can say it.

I like the savvy and sassiness of his character on Law & Order. If he gets the nod, I will vote for him.
Boo, Hiss.
I dunno if its Thompson (R) v. Kthulu (D) i don't think I'm going to settle for the lesser of two evils again.
Really? Which message is that? Considering how few eligible voters actually vote, it's obvious that no one cares if you boycott the process. The only person who matters in this system is the one who votes, so one voter = two who stay home and whine. Those who don't vote are letting a minority choose their leaders for them. You want your boycott of the candidates to send a message? Write in your own.
If you're not going to participate in the process, then STFU when it doesn't work for you.
"Boycotting" your own right to vote is fucking stupid.
If you don't like any candidate, do a write-in vote for yourself. The only person you know for sure shares all your views.

I find a bullshit vote to be contrary to the whole idea.
But you guys are right - I'm totally an asshole for not wanting to participate in an exercise that's rotten to the core.
