I didn't know about the WTC being destroyed until I got home from school early on in my senior year of HS. I only knew about the Pentagon being hit because the creative writing teacher had the radio on and it covered that, but didn't cover the WTC. The girl who sat in front of me had a family member at the Pentagon and was scared, but very relieved to find out that he was okay later.
