What all can you do with rep?

It would be cool if the amount of Rep was based off the person who was giving it. For example:

Josh, has +44 RP, gives you + RP = +4 to your RP
Biff, has -117 RP, gives you - RP = +12 to your RP

Rep points are the Gamer Score of TNL. Completely useless, but still, somehow deliciously desirable.
