Thread: Game company mantra/motto/tag line

  1. Game company mantra/motto/tag line

SO I was trying to think up the various tag lines or motto or whatever they want to call them for video game companies over the years. Searching around the 'net, I couldn't find a decent list of all of them, and I figured the super smart people of TNL would have better memories for this sort of thing.

I'm looking for the tag lines for companies mainly (hardware, services, or just general comapny mottos), not individual games. Quick example below:

    Sony:

    U R Not e (Playstation)
Live in your world, play in ours (PS1 and PS2, I think)
    Play B3yond (PS3)
    Get Your Own (PSP)
    PSP. Hells Yeah. (PSP)
    This is living (PS3)
Do Not Underestimate The Power Of The PlayStation (Playstation)
    Wherever, Whenever, Forever (Playstation)
Welcome to the Third Place (Playstation 2)
    Fun, Anyone? (playstation 2)
    WELCOME CHANG3 (Playstation 3)

    Sega:

    It's Thinking (Dreamcast)
    Genesis Does what Nintendon't (Genesis)
Welcome to the next level (Slogan ran across many consoles)
Now there are no limits. (Master System)
The challenge will always be there.
SEGA! (Sega scream, usually preceded by "Say it... say it...")
Sega, c'est plus fort que toi ! ('Sega, it's stronger than you!', cult French TV slogan, early 90's)
    The Arcade Experts. (early 80's)
Do me a favour, plug me into a Sega (talking TV)
To be this good takes AGES, To be this good takes SEGA
Up to 6 billion players. (Early Dreamcast tagline)
It's a Sega Genesis, it's a SegaCD, and it's a Portable CD Player! (Sega of America, marketing the Sega CDX console in 1994.)
Welcome to the Real World - Sega Saturn. (Early UK TV slogan)
    Segata Sanshiro
Fly, plaything, fly. You're not ready.
The Game is Never Over (also used in last European Mega Drive commercials.)
Peligrosamente real (Dangerously Real. 1st Spanish slogan)
La Ley del Más Fuerte (The Law of the most strong, Spanish slogan from 1993-94)
The more you play with it, the harder it gets.
    Pirate TV (Britain)
    Blast Processing (Genesis)
A little too real (Saturn Era)

    Nintendo:

Now You're Playing With Power (Nintendo Entertainment System)
    Touching is good (Nintendo DS)
Get N or get out (Nintendo 64)
    Play It Loud (SNES era)
Wii would like to play (Wii)
    Who are you?
    The best play here! (1992 - 1994)
    Nintendo is what Genesisn't

    Microsoft:

It's good to play together (Xbox Live service)
    Jump In. (Xbox 360)
    Play More
Heir to the Throne (Early 360 adverts)

    Electronic Arts:

EA Sports. It's in the game
    Challenge everything

    Atari:

    Do The Math (Jaguar)
Have You Played An Atari Today? (Atari)
Power without the price (Atari (ca.1985-1990s))

    SNK:

    Bigger. Badder. Better. (NeoGeo)
    The Future Is Now (NeoGeo)

    Intellivision:

    Intelligent Television

    Working Designs:

    Our games go to eleven

    Infogrames:

    Infogrames is entertainment!

    NVIDIA:

The Way It's Meant To Be Played

    Commodore 64:

My friends are knocking down my door to get into my Commodore 64
"To be this good would take Sega ages" - (Dunno if this really counts... used by Commodore for the CD32, posted outside Sega's UK HQ on a huge billboard)
Tasavallan tietokone ("The Computer of the Republic." Finnish ad for Commodore 64)

    ESRB:

    OK To Play?

    GameTap

    Expand Your Playground

That's a pretty shit list, but all I could come up with using my sleep deprived brain.

EDIT: Also, I'm curious if anyone knows if the taglines were different for different countries.
