this is the chocolate icing I use

1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
    2/3 cup Cocoa
    3 cups powdered sugar
    1/3 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

and my white icing is pretty much the same with no cocoa and a little bit more powdered sugar.

Are you seriously shit talking cream cheese frosting?

I have turned my head to your typical Buttplant comments, but Jesus Christ this just goes too far.

On another note, I hate Rachel Ray as much as anyone else. However, I found this recipe for waffles on foodtv.com and it comes out delicious every time without fail. It's from her show $40 a day.

    3/4 cup all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup whole milk or buttermilk
    1/3 cup vegetable oil
    1 egg
    1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
    3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
    Butter and syrup, for serving
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Add the milk, vegetable oil, egg, sugar and vanilla and mix well. Let the batter sit for 30 minutes. Preheat a waffle iron. Do not use non-stick spray on the waffle iron; the oil in the batter will allow the waffle to release easily. Follow the directions on your waffle iron to cook the waffles. Serve immediately with butter and syrup.

I seriously am. Cream cheese frosting is for fat white women. Bakery's put it on shit so they can look fancy and charge you more.

    screw that noise.

Be a man. Be an American. Use a real frosting or glaze.

  8. Whats the best way to reheat a steak? I assume in a pan on the stove, as the oven will dry it out and the microwave is the tool of the devil.

  10. I've heard of people wrapping a piece up in foil with a little water and putting it in the oven but that just seems like a waste of time.

I threw down some really nice steaks on the grill last night and am about to eat whats left. I've really been into cooking lately so I just wanna go about everything the best way.
