Sure it does. Not everyone is a high-level VF player. I play it casually among friends and I'm looking forward to playing it, especially online.

  3. I love how fucking snobby people who play fighting games are. It really shows a lot of class that these fucktards have to nitpick people who can enjoy an OMG NOT PERFECT GAME!

Until they release VF4 with online play, VF5 > VF4.

  4. Damn right we're snobby.

No shit, not everyone wrote a fucking thesis on Shun Di's one leg hop attacks.

There is a converter, but I don't trust it. Your options are either the DOA4/VF5 Hori Stick, MAS's soon-to-be-released 360 stick (if you like Happ parts), GoPodular, or commission a custom stick.

Well, I can officially retire the NeoGeo stuff now, I might just put everything on ebay. By next year, everthing good will be on PS2 (and likely very very cheap.)

At first I was thinking "PS2 WTF?" but they are releasing SS2 on XBLA, and for most of the other ones I wouldn't care if they were online or off. The PS2 versions of the AOF and Fatal Fury collections are nearly perfect, a better emulation than Fatal Fury Special on XBLA.

Plus, my PS2 arcade stick > my 360 arcade stick.

Indeed. My old friend is going to shit when he finds out that KOF Orochi Collection is coming stateside.

  9. Arcade Classics could potentially be great, but the version of MS Anthology I bought (PSP) had horrible in-game load times (which is inexcusable because an illegitimate copy of MS 1-5 is perfectly reproduced on PSP). I'm going to wait for QA impressions before buying.

And pre-98 KoFs are fine games, in many categories including and besides gameplay.. regardless of what fighting game tournament groupies have to say about them.
