I hate Carnival Games. But it's not the fact that it exists...it's the fact that on any other platform it'd be at best a mediocre seller...not the third best third party seller on the system. That 99 cent garbage on that one isle at CompUSA, Best Buy, etc? It's been accepted as garbage. It's EMBRACED on the Wii.

Yeah...BUT..the older XBLA games that were 800 points sold really well. Cloning Clyde did ridiculous numbers and I think it's a pretty lame game. Assault Heroes 1 did much better than 2, despite 2 being better. Same with Mutant Storm. 800 points might be a turn-off, but it didn't used to be because a new XBLA release was like water in the desert in addition to there being a lot fewer retail titles to pick from (and it doesn't help that a lot of the older retail titles are super cheap, whereas at the beginning, it was 60 bucks or bust).

Dude, shitty games make a lot of money on every system. On a system with a large install base they'll sell even more. Why does this continue to surprise you?

Nope. I see women and small children playing these games in shitty, tiny arcades all the time. House of the Dead 2 is a staple around here.

Anyway joust I don't think you have to fret about systems like the 360 dying. As there will always be frat boys, and they will always want to shoot things that produce big explosions.
